This sculpture is 17″h x 17″w x 17″d, alabaster stone. This stone is easy to carve and form details. The alabaster stone by nature is very colorful and has translucent qualities, but when carving, it reveals surprises of deep impurities. In this sculpture, when polished, it did reveal many white spots just below the surface. This sculpture is now called “White Leopard Woman”.  This is characteristic of alabaster stone.

A sculpture of owls. It is also carved using alabaster stone. This sculpture is the artist’s first carving, which was inspired by his daughter and her husband, who love owls.
